We put an offer in on a short sale home today. We know there are other offers and don’t know if ours will even be excepted. I just go home from work to find out that one of the homes we love that was pending sale has just come back on the market. Is it possible to put an offer on that one which is an REO? Or can you only do one offer at a time? I just don’t want to make the wrong choice. thank you guys! I think we made the right choice and I don’t want to pull my offer. Thanks for your help I have a realtor. I did not want to disturb her after hours and figured someone on here would know the answer. I am new to this as this will be our first home so of course I already ask her 100 questions a day.

You can WITHDRAW any offer as long as the sellers have not accepted it and the accepted contract returned to you. So, if you really, really want the house that just came back on the market. withdraw your offer for the short-sale, then put it on the home that has just come back on the market. You never, ever want two offers out there.
