I want to buy this property, but want support from family in choice?
-There is also money for bills. -I am taking classes at a college and a 4 yr school online program, but will be mostly be doing online work eventually so I could get a job and do school too. So I have enough money in a trust fund to buy a condo without a mortgage, but am still in school and have no job. I am going to be taking 4 classes (so that’s my job). How do I ask them to help me get this property? I am in my early 20′s looking for something to invest in, rent out or live in later on. I currently live with family. I also have enough in trust to pay for HOA dues and to get a professional person to screen for potential renters. What should I do? I’d use the same property management my family uses.
Answer:
If you want an investment property, first learn about managing property. Then buy something in the vicinity of the college that would be suitable to rent to students. If you work it right, the students will be paying your expenses for the property. Do it with money you have – don’t ask others to buy things for you.
