How does an 18 year old go about in obtaining a real estate salesperson license?
I’m a graduating senior in high school and about to enter college during the Fall. I am wondering how long is the process to obtain a real estate salesperson license. Also, what is the simple difference between a broker and salesperson? I believe a broker is above the salesperson, correct? And how do I get MLS? Thanks to anyone who can help. Thanks so far! Very informative from all of you.
Answer:
You need to study at a local school where they train you so you can pass the exam to get a license. The broker is the top dog above the salesman. The realty usually just has to join the MLS after they have a license to operate. You should be able to become a realtor is jobs are available in about 6 months. It’s not a very good paying job in today’s tough housing market and is a real dog eat dog world to work in.
